Dr. David Treen, MD

Dr. David Treen, MD has several decades of experience in general and bariatric surgery, specifically hernias. He earned his BS from Louisiana State University, followed by his MD from Tulane University. His internships and residencies were completed at Alton Ochsner Hospital in general surgery. He formerly served in a variety of roles at West Jefferson Medical Center, including the chief of the department of surgery and vice chief of medical staff. Currently, he is a clinical associate professor of bariatric surgery at an LA medical school, as well as an attending surgeon at an LA medical center and a bariatric surgeon at a hernia center.
