In 1985, he started as a Solo Private Practitioner and then in 2005 he became the Owner and Medical Optometrist at David J. Sterna, OD & Associates, LLC. He has also served as an Associate Medical Optometrist at Cleveland Eye Clinic and Retina Specialists of Ohio. Currently, he serves as Director of Vision Services at Lorain County Health & Dentistry.
