Dr. David Preston, MD

Dr. David C. Preston has 35 years of experience in the fields of Clinical Neurophysiology, Neurology, and Neuromuscular Medicine. He earned his BS in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and his MD from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. After completing his residency in Neurology at Tufts Medical Center, he went on to complete a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at Tufts Medical Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Vascular Neurology, Neuromuscular Medicine, and Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and is a Diplomate with the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Formerly, this expert has served as the Co-Director of the Muscular Dystrophy Association Clinic at Brigham and Women's Hospital and the Partner’s Neurology Training Program at Massachusetts General Hospital, and as the Director of Neuromuscular Service at UH Cleveland Medical Center. Currently, he serves as a Professor in the Department of Neurology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, as the Program Director of the Neurology Residency Program, Vice Chair of the Department of Neurology, and Director of the Neuromuscular Ultrasound Laboratory at UH Cleveland Medical Center, and a Staff Physician in the Division of Neurology with the University Hospitals Health System.
