Dr. David A. Savitz has 42 years of experience in the field of Epidemiology. He received his BA in Psychology from Brandeis University, his MS in Preventive Medicine from The Ohio State University, and his Ph.D. in Epidemiology from the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health. Formerly, this expert served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Biometrics and as the Director of the Epidemiology Program within the Department of Preventive Medicine and Biometrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He also served as a Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and as an Associate Director of the Center for Infectious Diseases within the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. Most recently, he served as the Vice President of Research at Brown University and Associate Dean of Research at the Brown University School of Public Health. He currently serves as a Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He also serves as a Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at the Brown University School of Public Health and as an Adjunct Professor of Epidemiology at the Boston University School of Public Health.
