Dr. Daniel T. Tranel has 39 years of experience in Clinical Neuropsychology. He earned his BA in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame and both his MA and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Iowa. He completed his postdoctoral training in Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. Today, this expert is board-certified in Clinical Neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology. Formerly, this expert served as an Associate Professor of Neurology at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. He currently serves as the Senior Director of the Clinical Neuropsychology Post-Doctoral Fellowship, as a Professor of Neurology, and as the Associate Dean of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. He is also the Director of the Neuroscience Graduate Program at the University of Iowa Graduate College and the Director of the Tranel Research Lab at the University of Iowa. Furthermore, he is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Iowa College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and Chief of the Benton Neuropsychology Laboratory at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, where he also serves as a Clinical Neuropsychologist.
