Dr. Daniel R. Kuritzkes has 38 years of experience in the field of Infectious Disease. He earned his BS and MS in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University and his MD from Harvard Medical School. Today, he is board certified in Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine. Formerly, he served as an Attending Physician in the Department of Infectious Diseases at the University of Colorado Hospital, as a Physician in the Department of Infectious Diseases at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and as an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Currently, he serves as the Harriet Ryan Albee Professor at Harvard Medical School and as Chief of the Department of Infectious Diseases at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He also serves as Program Director for the Multidisciplinary AIDS Training Program, which provides salary support for post-doctoral fellows conducting AIDS-related laboratory research and clinical investigation.
