He earned his BA from the University of Virginia, his MD from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, and his MPH and Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After completing his residency in Pediatrics at the University of Virginia Medical Center, he went on to complete a fellowship in Pediatrics at Duke University Medical Center. Formerly, this expert held roles as an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Chief of the Division of Quantitative Sciences at Duke University School of Medicine.
