Dr. Daniel DeAngelo, MS, MD, PhD

Dr. Daniel J. DeAngelo has 23 years of experience in the fields of Hematology and Medical Oncology. He earned his BS in Chemistry from the University of California Berkeley and his MS in Biology from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He also earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics and his MD from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine before obtaining his honorary MA from Harvard University years later. After completing both an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, he went on to complete a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Brigham and Women's Hospital and at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He also completed postdoctoral training in Cell Biology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Today, this expert is board certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology. Formerly, this expert served as the Director of Clinical and Translational Research in the Adult Leukemia Program and as a Senior Physician at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He was also an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He currently serves as an Associate Physician at Brigham and Women's Hospital and as a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He is also the Chief of the Leukemia Division, an Institute Physician, the Clinical Director of Medical Oncology Procedure Services, and a Physician in the Adult Hematology and Oncology Clinic at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
