Dr. Daniel Herman, MD, PhD

Dr. Daniel Herman, MD, PhD has over a decade of experience in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation and sports medicine. He earned his BS in chemistry and genetics from the University of California, Davis, and his MD as well as his PhD in biomedical engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then went on to complete a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Virginia and a fellowship in primary care and sports medicine at the University of Florida. Today, this expert is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, and sports medicine. He is active in his field as a member of numerous organizations, including the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American College of Sports Medicine. Furthermore, he has authored over 100 publications and serves as a reviewer for the American Society of Biomechanics and the American Journal for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. This expert has previously served as a physician at Western State Psychiatric Hospital and as an assisting physician and assistant professor in orthopedics and rehabilitation at the University of Florida. Currently, he serves as an associate professor and the director of PMR Sports Medicine Research at a university in California.
