Dr. Coburn Allen, MD, FPIDS

Dr. Coburn H. Allen has years of experience in the fields of Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Pediatric Infectious Diseases. He earned his B.S. in Biology from Oral Roberts University and his M.D. from Baylor College of Medicine. After completing his Residency in Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine, he went on to complete a Combined Fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Baylor College of Medicine. Today, this expert is board-certified in Pediatrics, Pediatric Emergency Medicine, and Pediatric Infectious Diseases. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Founder and Director of the Medical Global Outreach Foundation at Dell Children's Medical Center, as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center, as the Director of Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin, and as a National Director of Pediatric Services at US Acute Care Solutions. Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and Associate Program Director for the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin and as the Chief Medical Officer at Medici.
