Dr. Chekitan Dev

Dr. Chekitan Dev has over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, specifically in hotel administration and marketing. After earning his PhD in Hospitality Management from Virginia Tech University, he went on to serve as a Senior Associate in Hospitality Consulting with Michael D. Olsen and Associates. Throughout his career, he has worked with several prominent companies in the hospitality industry including Hilton, Holiday Inn, Hyatt, Marriott, MGM Resorts, and Wyndham Hotels. He is active in his field having published over 100 peer-reviewed articles in journals including the Journal of Marketing, Harvard Business Review, and Cornell Hospitality Quarterly. Most recently, he was selected as one of the "Top 25 Most Extraordinary Minds in Hospitality, Travel and Tourism Sales and Marketing" by Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International. Currently, he is a Professor of Marketing in the Hotel Administration department at an Ivy League university in New York.
