Dr. Charles Cervantes, MD, CMD, FACP

Dr. Charles Cervantes, Jr. has 40 years of experience in the field of Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. He earned his BA in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University and his MD from the Baylor College of Medicine. He completed both an internship and a residency in Internal Medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine and today, this expert is board-certified in Geriatric Medicine and Internal Medicine. He is also a Certified Medical Director through the American Board of Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine. Formerly, this expert served as the Medical Director of Pecan Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare, Nix Senior Health Care Center, San Pedro Manor, and Westover Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare. He was also an Adjunct Professor of Medicine at the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine and at the Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio. He is currently an Attending Physician at Baptist Medical Center and the Owner of Charles R. Cervantes, JR., M.D., P.A.
