Dr. Charles E. Murry has 30 years of experience in the field of Pathology. He earned his AA from Bismarck State College and his BS in Chemistry from the University of North Dakota. He completed obtained both his Ph.D. in Pathology and his MD from the Duke University School of Medicine before completing a residency in Pathology and a research fellowship in Vascular Biology at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Today, this expert is board certified in Anatomic Pathology. Formerly, this expert served as a Founding Co-Director of the Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine and as the Founding Director of the Center for Cardiovascular Biology at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He currently serves as a Professor of Pathology, Medicine, and Bioengineering at the University of Washington School of Medicine, where he also serves as the William and Marilyn Conner Chair of Laboratory Medicine. He is also the Director of the Murray Laboratory, Director of the UW Medicine Heart Regeneration Program, Co-Director of the Center for Cardiovascular Biology, and Director of the Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Moreover, he is the Senior Vice President and Head of Cardiometabolic Cell Therapy for Sana Biotechnology, Inc.
