Dr. Carlos Bagley, MD, MBA, FAANS, FACS

Dr. Carlos A. Bagley has 16 years of experience in the field of Neurological Surgery. He earned his BS in Biological Sciences from Duke University and his MD from Duke University School of Medicine. He also earned his MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. After completing his internship in General Surgery and his residency in Neurological Surgery, he went on to complete his fellowship in Spine Surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Today, this expert is board-certified in Neurological Surgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. Formerly, he held roles as a Professor of Neurological and Orthopedic Surgery and as the Director of the Neurosurgery Spine Fellowship in the Department of Neurosurgical Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He also served as an Executive Vice Chair of Neurosurgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Currently, he is the Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery, the Co-Chair of Saint Luke’s Physician Group Neurosciences Division, and Co-Director of both the Neurosciences Service Line and Saint Luke’s Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute, all at Saint Luke's Health System.
