Dr. Bassam A Masri has over 27 years of experience in the field of Orthopaedic Surgery. He earned his BS in Chemistry and MD from the University of British Columbia. After completing his internship at Grey Nuns Community Hospital, he went on to complete two fellowships in Orthopedics at the University of British Columbia and the Hospital for Special Surgery. Today, this expert is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Department Head of Orthopaedics at the University of British Columbia and Vancouver Coastal Health. He also served as the Surgeon-in-Chief and as the Regional Medical Director of Surgical Services at Vancouver Coastal Health. Currently, he serves as an Active Staff at Vancouver General Hospital and as a Professor at the University of British Columbia.
