Dr. Atif Iqbal, MD

Dr. Atif Iqbal, MD is a double board-certified surgeon with certifications in general surgery and colorectal surgery. He received his MBBS from King Edward Medical College. This expert then completed a surgery internship at the Mayo Hospital, followed by surgery residencies at Khan Hospital and the University of Missouri, and a colorectal surgery fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. He is an active participant in his field as a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons. This expert formerly served as an assistant, and later, associate professor of colorectal surgery at the University of Florida, in addition to working as the medical director of their general surgery, thoracic surgery, and cardiovascular surgery outpatient clinics. He is currently an associate professor of colorectal surgery and the chief of the division at a Texas medical school.
