Dr. Asim Choudhri, MD

Dr. Asim Choudhri has years of experience in the field of Neuroradiology. He earned his BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison College of Letters and Science and his MD from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine. After completing residencies in Internal Medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and Radiology at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, he pursued a fellowship in Neuroradiology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Choudhri is board certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology and Neuroradiology. Previously, he served as a Neuroradiologist at the UT Medical Group, Inc., and as an Assistant and Associate Professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Currently, he serves as the Director of Neuroradiology at the Le Bonheur Neuroscience Institute, as a Neuroradiologist at UT Le Bonheur Pediatric Specialists, as a Professor and Associate Chair of Research Affairs and Professor in the Departments of Radiology, Neurosurgery, and Ophthalmology at University of Tennessee Health Science Center, and as the Chief of Pediatric Neuroradiology at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.
