Dr. Andrew Kompel, MD

Dr. Andrew Kompel, MD has experience in both academic and clinic radiology. He graduated with his BS in neuroscience from Allegheny College before graduating with his MD from Boston University’s School of Medicine. He then continued his medical education, first with an internship with local hospitals in Massachusetts, then as a resident in diagnostic radiology at Boston Medical Center, and finally with a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at Johns Hopkins University, where he was also an instructor of radiology. He was formerly an instructor at Boston University’s School of Medicine within the department of radiology. He has previously published over 15 articles on medical imaging. He currently is an attending physician with a major trauma center and assistant professor of radiology and program director of the musculoskeletal radiology fellowship at a major school in Massachusetts.
