Dr. Andrew Leibowitz, MD

Dr. Andrew B. Leibowitz has 30 years of experience in the field of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. He earned his BA in Chemistry from the Queen's College, City University of New York and his MD from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. After, completing his internship in Internal Medicine from the Montefiore Medical Center, and a residency in Anesthesiology from the Mount Sinai Hospital. He also completed a fellowship in Critical Care from the Mount Sinai Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Anesthesiology, Critical Care Medicine, and Internal Medicine. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Associate Director of Surgical Intensive Care Unit, the Executive Vice Chair of Anesthesiology, and the Program Director of the Director Critical Care Anesthesiology Fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital. Currently, this expert serves as the Professor and the System Chair of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, as well as an Attending in Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital.
