Dr. Andrew Alleyne

Dr. Andrew Alleyne earned a BS in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Princeton University and an MS and PhD in mechanical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. He is active in his field as a member of professional associations such as the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers and as the author of over 125 articles and 4 book chapters. He was formerly a product engineer with GM, a researcher with a jet propulsion lab, and the associate head of mechanical science and engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is currently a professor of mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering at a university in Illinois. Here, his research and coursework is focused on electronic control systems and vehicle system dynamics.
