Dr. Allen D. Elster has years of experience in the fields of Neuroradiology and Diagnostic Radiology. He earned his BE in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, his MA in Neurophysiology from the University of Oxford, and his MD from the Baylor College of Medicine. He also earned his MBA from the Wake Forest University School of Business years later. After completing a residency in Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital and another residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, he went on to complete a fellowship in Neuroradiology at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Neuroradiology and Diagnostic Radiology through the American Board of Radiology. Formerly, he was a Professor of Radiology and Chair of Radiology at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He currently serves as Chair Emeritus of Radiology at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He is also a Professor of Neuroradiology at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and the Managing Partner of Elster LLC.
