Dr. Allen Bar, MD

Dr. Allen Bar, MD is board certified in General Surgery has been practicing for over 30 years. He earned his BA and MD from Tufts University. He completed a residency in General Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, before serving for two years in the United States Army. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is a member of several other prestigious national and local societies in his field. He has delivered several nationally invited lectures. He currently holds surgical appointments at three major east coast healthcare centers. He has published several peer reviewed journal articles. He is very active in the education of medical students, residents and fellows and has chaired several educational committees at medical schools in Pennsylvania.
