Dr. Alissa Swearingen, MD, FACS

Dr. Alissa M. Swearingen has 12 years of experience in the field of General Surgery. She earned her BS in Biology from the University of Tennessee and her MD from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center Memphis. She completed both an internship and residency in General Surgery at Banner - University Medical Center Phoenix. Today, this expert is board-certified in Surgery by the American Board of Surgery. Formerly, she served as a General Surgeon for Skyline Surgical Associates. She was also a Trauma and Acute Care Surgeon at Patient Partners Surgery Center, at Tristar Henderson Medical Center, at Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital, and at Tristar Skyline Medical Center. She currently serves as a General Surgeon at Tristar Skyline Medical Center, at Tristar Hendersonville Medical Center, at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital Midtown, and at Advanced Surgical Associates. She is also the Chief of the Department of Surgery at the Tristar Skyline Medical Center.
