Dr. Alfred Burger, MD, MS

Dr. Alfred P. Burger has years of experience in the field of Internal Medicine. He earned his BA in Biology from Johns Hopkins University, his MD from St. George’s University School of Medicine, and his MS in Health Care Delivery Leadership at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital. Today this expert is board-certified in Internal Medicine. Formerly he served as an Assistant Professor and Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and as the Interim Program Director of Internal Medicine Residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. Currently, he serves as an Attending Physician and Hospitalist in the Department of Medicine and as the Senior Associate Program Director of Internal Medicine Residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel.
