Dr. Alan Benvenisty, MD

Dr. Alan Benvenisty, MD earned his bachelor's degree from Union College and MD from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed his internship and residency in general surgery at Presbyterian Hospital in the City of New York. He then went on to complete a fellowship in peripheral vascular and transplant surgery at the same institution. He is active in his field as a member of numerous medical societies including American Society of Transplant Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, American Association for Vascular Surgery and New York Surgical Society. He has been highly prolific in his career with over 80 journal articles and 5 book chapters published. Formerly, he held several faculty roles at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He is currently a professor of surgery at an academic medical center in NY.
