Dr. Aaron Sasson, MD, FACS

Dr. Aaron R. Sasson has 22 years of experience in the fields of Surgery and Surgical Oncology. He earned his BA in Biochemistry from Rutgers University and his MD from the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. After completing both his internship and residency in General Surgery at UC San Diego Medical Center, he went on to complete a fellowship in Surgical Oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center. Today, this expert is board-certified in Surgery. Formerly, this expert served as a Professor of Surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine and as the Chief of Gastrointestinal Surgical Oncology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He currently serves as a Co-Director of the Gastrointestinal Team, as the Director of Surgical Oncology Services, and as the Director of Clinical Operations at Stony Brook Cancer Center. He is also a Clinical Professor of Surgery and the Chief of Surgical Oncology at the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University, as well as the Director of the Pancreatic Cancer Center at Stony Brook University Hospital.
