Dr. Chris Esquire

Dr. Chris Esquire has over 20 years of experience in cyber law and security and is also a practicing attorney. He earned his BS in information systems from the University of Alabama and his MS in information systems management from Grantham University. He then went on to earn his JD from the Birmingham School of Law and his PhD in computer and information security from Northcentral University. He holds a certificate in information systems security from Syracuse University and is a member of the privacy and computer crime committee of the American Bar Association. He formerly served as a senior IT security analyst at Southern Company, as an IT manager at CompUSA, and as an information technology specialist for the Department of Veteran's Affairs. Most recently, he served as the information technology security manager for the 2020 Democratic National Convention Committee. This expert is currently an attorney at his own private practice in Alabama and an adjunct professor of cyber law at four universities throughout the US.
