Prof. Ali Tabei

Prof. Ali Tabei has over a decade of experience in materials science and mechanical, industrial, and manufacturing engineering. He specializes in thermomechanical non-linear finite element analysis, property-structure-process relationship simulation, composite materials modeling and property homogenization, and MEMS device processing. He obtained his BS in materials science and engineering from the Isfahan University of Technology in Iran and his MS in materials science and engineering from the Sharif University of Technology in Iran, before receiving both his MS and PhD in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Today, this expert is very active in academia, having published 19 peer-reviewed journal articles and having given 8 national conference presentations. Moreover, he has developed a patent, relating to high-temperature rotational viscometers. He previously served as a research fellow and research scientist of materials science and engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. More recently, this expert also worked as a senior engineer of research and development at ATI Specialty Materials. He is currently an assistant professor of mechanical, industrial, and manufacturing engineering at a major university in Oregon.
