This qualified expert earned his BA in German literature and language from the University of California, Santa Barbara, both his MFA in creative writing and fiction and MA in English literature from Chapman University, and lastly his PhD in rhetoric, composition and teaching of English at the University of Arizona. He went on to complete a fellowship in inclusive excellence at Santa Clara University. He is an active member of the Conference on College Composition and Communication, National Council of Teachers of English, NCTE Latinx Caucus, and the Rhetoric Society of America. He is an author of one book, multiple book chapters and an active reviewer of multiple manuscripts. Formerly, he served as a graduate teaching assistant of the writing program at the University of Arizona. Currently, this expert serves as summer faculty in the English department at a university in New Mexico and as an assistant professor of rhetoric and composition at a university in California.
