Expert Qualifications

This expert has over 20 years of experience in the wine appraisal industry. He earned his BA from Dartmouth College and holds several certifications including Accredited Senior Appraiser, Wine Specialist, Sommelier, and the Art of Sabrage. He is very active in his field as a member of several professional societies including the American Society of Appraisers, the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, and the Society of Wine Educators. In addition, this expert has published multiple articles and blog posts as well as having been invited to speak on multiple occasions. This expert has formerly held roles as an auction assistant at Morrell & Company Fine Wine Auctions, a sales associate at Tribeca Wine Merchants, and a wine appraiser at the Phillips Auctions & Appraisals. He currently is an appraiser at a while consulting firm in Connecticut that also is a freelance writer and hosts events on the education of wines and spirits.
