His instruction has produced 43 Senior National Champions, 82 Junior National Champions, 41 Youth National Champions, 31 Junior World Team Members, 9 Senior World Team members, 4 Youth World Team members and 3 Olympians. As a professional athlete, he competed at the Olympics, as well as numerous national competitions. Today, he travels the country to lecture on proper lifting technique and weightlifting safety.
