Expert Qualifications

This highly-qualified expert has over 20 years of experience in the field of agriculture, specializing in weed science, precision agriculture, and pest management in horticultural crops. He earned his BS in biology and his MS in plant sciences from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia before earning his PhD in plant sciences from the University of Manitoba. He is active in his field as a member of several professional organizations, including the International Society of Precision Agriculture and the International Weed Science Society, and as a highly-published scientific researcher. He formerly served as a research horticulturalist for the USDA-ARS and as an associate professor at Nova Scotia Agriculture College. Currently, this expert works at a university in Florida, where he serves as an associate professor and the associate center director of a plant science research center.
