Expert Qualifications

This well-qualified expert has more than twenty years of experience in caring for animals, including more than five as a veterinarian. She received her BA in anthropology from Scripps College and her DVM at Washington State University. She is certified in veterinary acupuncture, Tui-Na, herbalism, canine rehabilitation, and animal chiropractic care. She is also a member of many professional organizations, including the American Holistic Veterinary Medicine Association and the International Association of Animal Hospice and Palliative Care. Previously, this expert held a variety of roles, including serving as a veterinarian for Pet Loss at Home and as a relief veterinarian for multiple different veterinary clinics. Currently, she is a vice-chair for a state regulatory veterinary board, an expert writer & reviewer for a leading pet and animal information website, an instructor for an animal education website, and the owner & veterinarian of her own holistic mixed animal clinic.
