Expert Qualifications

This highly qualified expert is double-board certified by the American Board of Urology in urology and female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. He received his BA in biology from Brandeis University before earning his MD at the State University of New York in Brooklyn. He subsequently went on to complete his an internship and residency in surgery, as well as a urology residency at Temple University Hospital. He then completed a neurourology, female urology, and prosthetics fellowship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. This expert is active in his field as a member of several associations, including the Society of Urodynamics and Female Urology, the American Urogynecologic Society, and the American Association of Clinical Urologists. He is also highly involved in research as an author of several peer-reviewed publications and a reviewer for multiple scientific journals. He specializes in urogenital trauma in both males and females, pelvic and vaginal mesh complications, device injury, sexual injury and abuse, and neurogenic bladder. He has formerly served as the director of female pelvic health at the Center for Urologic Services and the vice chairman of surgery at Chandler Regional Medical Center. Currently, this expert is the medical director of the Speaker's Bureau and the vice chairman of surgery at a medical center in Arizona, as well as the director of female pelvic health at a university-affiliated urological institute and a faculty physician at a major medical school in Arizona.
