Expert Qualifications

This highly qualified board certified expert has been in clinical practice for over 20 years. Fellowship training was completed at the University of Pittsburgh. He is actively involved in research and education: to date, he has authored over 280 original peer reviewed articles/ abstracts, 8 book chapters, and lectured at more than 75 conferences and symposia. The expert serves as a reviewer and editor for numerous medical and surgical journals. He is also a member of countless committees and organizations dedicated to the improvement of surgical outcomes in transplant patients. The expert is well recognized locally and internationally for his contributions to the field. Currently, he holds a large number of leadership/ administrative positions such as the Director of the Division of Transplantation, Surgical Director of a cancer center, and the Director of a university affiliated transplant institute. In addition, he is a Professor of Surgery at two highly regarded university affiliated medical centers and an Attending Surgeon at two major medical centers.
