Expert Qualifications

This highly qualified expert has over 15 years of experience in surgical critical care. He received his BS from Mercy College before earning his DO from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an internship and a general surgery residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in trauma and surgical critical care at Lincoln Medical and Health Center. This expert is board-certified in general surgery, with a subspecialization in surgical critical care. He is active in his field as a member of several organizations, including the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and the Society of Critical Care Medicine. He is also involved in research, having authored multiple publications and posters. His former positions include director of trauma and surgical critical care at St. Barnabas Hospital and NYU-Brooklyn, as well as the chief of trauma surgical critical care at St. Barnabas Hospital. Currently, this expert serves as the director of trauma and acute care surgery at a NY medical center, as well as an assistant professor of surgery at two NY medical schools.
