Expert Qualifications

This highly qualified expert is a board certified surgeon with 43+ years of experience. He completed his internship training at Stamford Hospital and concluded his residency training focusing on general surgery at the University of Maryland. He also completed two fellowship programs in surgical oncology and head and neck surgery at M.D. Anderson Hospital. He is a fellow at the American College of Surgeons and the former president of the Louisville Surgical Society. He is also a member of various other renowned professional associations, including the American Head and Neck Society. He has published 51+ peer-reviewed journal articles and serves in the editorial board of 3+ medical journals. His outstanding work as an academic and practitioner has earned him a place in US News & World Report's list of "Top Doctors" and Castle Connolly's list of "America's Top Doctors for Cancer". He lectures both nationally and internationally and is currently a professor of surgical oncology at a major university. He is the former associate director of cancer control and community relations at James Graham Brown Cancer Center and the former co-medical director of the Kentucky Cancer Program. He is also the former vice-president of Preferred Physicians, Inc., and the former director of Alternate Health Delivery System. Currently, he works in private practice specializing in surgical oncology.
