Expert Qualifications

This extremely qualified expert is a certified rehabilitation nurse with years of experience in the field. She received her BSN degree from Maryville University and her MSN degree from the University of Texas, where she also completed a PhD program focusing on rehabilitation science. She is a member of various professional associations, including Sigma Theta Tau and the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses, which honored her with its President's Award in 2014. She has published 16+ peer-reviewed journal articles and serves as a reviewer for 3+ renowned nursing journals. She lectures both nationally and internationally and is a former clinical educator of rehabilitation and geriatrics at the University of Texas, where she also managed the rehabilitation admission program and worked as a clinical geriatric nurse specialist. Additionally, she is a former staff nurse focusing on adult rehabilitation at both St. Johns Mercy Medical Center and SSM Rehabilitation Institute. She is currently an independent nurse consultant in Texas.
