This highly-qualified nursing expert earned her BA in communications from Indiana University Bloomington before earning her BSN from Indiana University South Bend. She then completed an internship in the pediatric intensive care unit at Lurie Children's Hospital. She is now a licensed registered nurse with 25 years of clinical experience and holds certifications in advanced cardiac life support and medical-surgical nursing. Formerly, this expert served as a registered nurse in the cardiac observation unit at Duke University and as a float nurse in the medical-surgical units at Rex Hospital. For the last 17 years, she has served as a registered nurse in the medical-surgical, cardiac and telemetry settings at a health system in North Carolina.
