Expert Qualifications

This highly qualified, well-published and fellowship trained expert earned his BS from Xavier University and his MD from Ohio State College of Medicine. After completing his psychiatry residency, he went on to train under a prestigious fellowship at The National Institute of Mental Health. As a board certified psychiatrist, this expert has been a crucial member of his field as an author of over 95 journal articles and book chapters. In addition, he is a prominent member of his field as a Distinguished Life Fellow of The American Psychiatric Association. He has devoted much of his clinical and research work to the study of Bipolar Disorder. Formerly, he served as Co-Director of the Bipolar Disorder Early Intervention Clinic in Cleveland and was also President of University Behavioral Health Care in Ohio. Currently, he serves as Professor of Psychiatry as well as Director of The Mood Disorders Program at a top tier university medical center. In addition, he remains active in the research and treatment of Bipolar Disorder as Co-Director of a Bipolar Interventions Center in Ohio.
