Expert Qualifications

This highly-qualified psychiatrist is board-certified in psychiatry and psychosomatic medicine and has been practicing for 15 years. He received his BA in economics from Washington University in Saint Louis before earning his DO from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. This expert then completed his post-graduate training as an intern at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, a resident in psychiatry at Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he served as chief resident for two years, and as a fellow in psychosomatic medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. He is active in his field as a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine, and the Academy of Dynamic Psychiatry and Psychoanalysis. He is also involved in research as an author of several publications and a peer-reviewer for three psychiatry journals. He has formerly served as an adjunct clinical professor of psychiatry at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, a psychiatrist at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and North Shore University Hospital, and director of the psychosomatic medicine fellowship program at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Currently, this expert is a psychiatrist at a major hospital system in New York, as well as an adjunct assistant clinical professor of psychiatry at a university-affiliated medical center and an assistant professor of psychiatry at a prominent New York university. He has also owned and operated his own private practice in psychiatry in New York for 15 years.
