Expert Qualifications

This board certified expert has been practicing for over 15 years. She received a Masters Degree in Public Health at the Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health prior to earning a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California, and she completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of California, San Diego. Awarded the honor of Fellow of the American College of Physicians, she has been named to the Best Doctors in America list numerous times and sits on the Advisory Board for the largest online social network of medical support groups. She has been an invited lecturer for Internal Medicine and Psychiatry residents on depression and anxiety disorders in primary care, as well as women's health issues, and her work has been published in journals such as "Patient Education and Counseling" and "Circulation". Currently, this expert is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Geriatric, Hospital and General Internal Medicine at a major medical university, while she also maintains an active private practice in General Internal Medicine.
