After completing his residency in General Surgery at St. Vincent's Hospital, where he was Chief Resident, he went on to complete another residency in Plastic Surgery at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He then completed a fellowship with a private cosmetic surgery practice in Miami, Florida.
