Expert Qualifications

This highly qualified physician assistant has over 20 years of experience. After earning her BS from the University of Texas, this expert went on to complete her MPAS at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She is certified PA-C by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of prestigious societies such as the International Society of Travel Medicine, the Academy of Physician Assistants in Family Medicine, the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine and the Society of Physician Assistants in Pediatrics. This expert has published 5 book chapters, 18 poster presentations, has given 17 seminar lectures and has been a master research adviser on 17 projects. She served as co-director of pediatrics at University of Texas Southwestern as well as vice-chair of clinical services physician assistant studies. She is currently an associate professor in the department of family medicine at a major university medical center as well as medical director for a TX medical clinic.
