This highly-qualified expert has 25 years of experience as a physical therapist, with her work focused on balance and fall risk, shoulder injuries, concussions, work injuries, sports medicine, and orthopaedics. She received her BS in biology from Clarke College before earning her MS in physical therapy from Boston University This expert then completed a biometry (biostatistics) program through the University of Southern California before earning her MBA from UCLA. She then earned her PhD in anatomy and research methodology from the Union Institute and University. This expert is active in her field as a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the American Society of Shoulder and Elbow Therapists. She is also highly active in research, having authored numerous publications, served as a peer reviewer for multiple scientific journals, and presented at several conferences throughout her career. She formerly served as a clinician and manager for orthopedics and balance and falls at Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital, an analyst for the United States Olympic Training Committee's elite athlete project, and was the director of physical therapy during the 1984 Summer Olympics. She also served as a research director at Mount St. Mary's College, a department director for Centinela Hospital & Medical Research Laboratory, and CEO of HealthCare Research and Management. Currently, this expert is the CEO of both an online continuing education company and a fitness technology company.
