Expert Qualifications

This qualified expert is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation. She earned her BS at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County before earning an MD and a PhD in integrative biology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She then completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Arkansas before becoming board certified. This expert is very active in her field as a member of several professional societies including the Association of Academic Physiatrists, the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the Arkansas Medical Society. In addition, this expert has received several research grants and has published 6 peer-reviewed articles. This expert is currently a consulting physician as multiple facilities including a nursing home, inpatient rehab facility, and a medical-legal consulting firm in Texas. She is also a medical director and physician at an acute rehab center.
