This highly qualified pediatric care expert earned his BA in molecular and cell biology from University of California at Berkeley and his MD from University of California at Los Angeles. He also received his masters of science in clinical epidemiology from University of Pennsylvania. He then went on to complete a residency in pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles and a fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
