Expert Qualifications

This highly qualified and double board certified pulmonologist earned his BA at the University of Rochester and MD at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He completed residency training in pediatrics and fellowship training in pediatric pulmonary medicine at the University of North Carolina. This expert is a member of several professional organizations. He is a former Chair, Section of Pediatric Pulmonology of the American Academy of Pediatrics. This expert is a highly regarded authority in pediatric pulmonary medicine. He has received numerous awards throughout his career, has received millions of dollars of research grants, and is a frequently invited guest speaker at national and international conferences. Currently this expert is Professor and Chief of the Division of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine at a top ranking university, the Director of a major Cystic Fibrosis Center, Director of the pediatric asthma center, and consults in the pediatric neuromuscular disease clinic and the sickle cell disease clinic.
