Expert Qualifications

This expert is highly qualified in the field of pediatric pathology. He earned his MD from the Medical College of Georgia and subsequently completed an internship in obstetrics and gynecology at the Mountain Area Health Education Center. He then completed a combined surgical and clinical pathology residency at Tulane University and a pediatric pathology fellowship at Louisiana State University. This expert is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, with a subspecialty certification in pediatric pathology. He is active in his field as a member of the College of American Pathologists, the Society for Pediatric Pathology, and the Walter B. Morley Research Foundation Institutional Review Board. He was formerly an assistant professor of pediatric pathology at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. This expert is currently employed at a children's hospital in Louisiana as an anatomic pathologist, the medical director of hematology, the medical director of blood bank and transfusion medicine, and the medical director of point of care testing.
