Expert Qualifications

This highly-qualified expert has nearly 30 years of experience in pediatric neurology. He received his DEC in health sciences from Marianopolis College before earning his BSc and MDCM in physiology from McGill University. He subsequently completed an internship and residency in pediatrics, as well as a neurology residency and fellowships in EMG, EEG, and elevated potentials at Montreal Children's Hospital. He also completed a research fellowship in molecular/medical genetics at Royal Victoria Hospital. This expert is board-certified in neurology with a special qualification in child neurology. He is also certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is active in his field as a member of several organizations, including the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, the International Child Neurology Association, and the American Academy of Neurology. He is also highly involved in research, having authored hundreds of peer-reviewed journal articles. He has formerly served as an associate professor of neurology and pediatrics at McGill University, as well as the director of pediatric neurology at Montreal Children's Hospital. Currently, this expert is a full professor of neurology and pediatrics and the chair of pediatrics at a distinguished medical school in Quebec. He is also the pediatrician-in-chief at a children's hospital in Quebec.
